Game 1 of the 2022 NBA Finals was one to remember, with the Celtics striking first by way of a come-from-behind road victory over the Warriors.

While there was no shortage of star power in the game, Boston's Al Horford shined the brightest, scoring 26 points in his NBA Finals debut to fuel the comeback win. For Golden State, Stephen Curry got out to a hot start with 21 points in the opening frame, but the two-time MVP scored just 13 points over the final three quarters to finish with 34 points.

Despite the loss, Warriors forward Draymond Green remained confident, reminding everyone that it was just one game and the series is the first to four wins.

We pretty much dominated the game for the first 41-42 minutes, Green said after Golden State's Game 1 loss, adding that we’ll be fine.

The Celtics, on the other hand, have reason to be confident but after two hard-fought seven-game series, know a worthy response is coming from Golden State in Game 2.

Here is everything you need to know about Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the Warriors and Celtics, including a full schedule for the remainder of the series.

The Celtics will look to take a 2-0 series lead against the Warriors in Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night. Boston will try to maintain some momentum from a dominant fourth quarter in Game 1 during which they outscored the Warriors 40-16 to help them rally for a 12-point victory. Golden State will be looking to regroup from their first home loss at the Chase Center this preseason and try to avoid a 0-2 hole before the series shifts back to Boston for Game 3.

Game 2 of the Finals will be at Chase Center in San Francisco and the game will be aired on ABC. Fans without cable looking to stream the game can watch it online via fuboTV or DirecTVStream. Both streaming services offer free trials.

A peek at Golden State’s practice Saturday wouldn’t have suggested that the Warriors are trailing the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals.

Stephen Curry was making most of his shots, as usual. Klay Thompson was bobbing his head in time with the music in between his own shot attempts. Draymond Green was at the other end of the floor with the forwards yelling Oh, yeah!” at nobody in particular.

The biggest game of their season is Sunday. Say this much for the Warriors: They don’t seem nervous about it.

The Celtics can take a 2-0 lead — and absolute command — of the NBA Finals on Sunday when they visit the Warriors in the second game of the title series. It’s not must-win time for the Warriors, technically, but opening a series with two home losses would mean they’d need to pull off something nearly unprecedented to win a championship.

It’s really important to turn the page one way or the other,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. If you win and you get happy and you let your guard down, then you’re in trouble. And if you lose and you feel sorry for yourself, then you’re in trouble doing that, too. It’s all about how you respond.”

Boston has a similar approach. Much was made of how the Celtics didn’t have any players with finals experience before the series opener Thursday night; they used a 48-18 run to pull away late and win 120-108. But moments after the final buzzer, there was no celebrating in the winning locker room — just a reminder from Marcus Smart that, like Kerr said, the page needed to turn quickly to Sunday.

Boston was able to flip the script on the Warriors late in Game 1 to win 120-108 and take a 1-0 lead in this best-of-seven series. Trailing by 12 at the start of the fourth quarter, the Celtics powered their way back into the contest midway through the period before breaking off a 17-0 run to stun the Warriors and the Chase Center fans. Al Horford did a bulk of the heavy lifting late and he finished the game 26 points and six rebounds. Jayson Tatum shot just 3-17 from the field but still put up 12 points and 13 assists.

Golden State will try to regroup after a loss where it put just 16 points on the board in the fourth quarter. Stephen Curry buried an NBA Finals record six threes in the first quarter but was held in check for the rest of the game. The ‘Dubs’ shot just 44.3 percent from the field as a team in the loss and will need better shooting across the board if they want to tie the series.
