Jan began his career at a small public accounting firm in Stamford, CT where he worked hand in hand with business owners. To broaden his experience, he next joined Bank of America where he managed the accounting functions for all branches in seven states as well as a portion of the bank’s treasury accounting. From there, Jan was hired by UBS AG where he managed all regulatory reporting obligations. Jan then returned to public accounting for a mid-sized firm in Manhattan, NY where he attained his CPA license in 2001.

In 2005, Jan was hired as the Controller of a public gold and mining exploration company and was promoted to CFO in 2007. After being asked to assist various businesses in an outsourced CFO/Controller role, Jan started a new CPA partnership in 2010, which drew upon his variety of skills, knowledge and experiences. In late 2014, this firm merged with Rosenfield & Co. where Jan is a partner today.

Jan is a member of the American Institute of Public Accountants, New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and Auto CPA Group.
