KICKED OFF NEW YORK FASHION WEEK
ON SEPTEMBER 5TH, 2019
WITH A BANG!
Over 660 guests joined us to celebrate inclusion, applaud innovation and highlight people with
disabilities in fashion. We were thrilled to have NBC TODAY’s Lifestyle Contributor and Emmy Award
Winning TV personality, Jill Martin as our Host and Emmy Award Winning TV personality and
style savant, Carson Kressley as our Master of Ceremonies.
Honorees included supermodel, fashion designer, business owner and role model, Madeline Stuart,
SAP’s Senior Vice President and General Manager of Consumer Industries, Matt Laukaitis,
and PVH’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating and Financial Officer, Mike Shaffer.
Dinner entertainment was provided by deaf singer, songwriter and “America’s Got Talent” finalist
Mandy Harvey whose performance inspired us and warmed our hearts.
Other special guests included Miss Universe, Catriona Gray, “Sex in the City’s” Jason Lewis,
“American Horror Story’s” Jamie Brewer and model and body positivity activist Hunter McGrady.
But the highlight of the evening was the Runway Show that featured 40 stunning models of
varying abilities strutting their stuff wearing adaptive clothing by Tommy Hilfiger Adaptive,
Zappos Adaptive, and Kohl’s Adaptive clothing options.
