Runway of Dreams returned to NYFW in September with our largest Show yet featuring over 60 models with varying disabilities showcasing adaptive fashions from SIX mainstream brands and retailers. JC Penney debuted their adaptive line on our runway and Target joined the ranks of the brands from the Miami show. Disability activist, actor, producer and fourth generation deaf person, Nyle DiMarco, hosted the event. Corey Yribarren, Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer for Sephora, was presented the Pioneer of Change Award for her commitment to diversity and inclusion by Anish Melwani, Chairman and CEO, LVMH for North America. Dave Stevens, 7-time Emmy-Award winning sports broadcasting professional and the only congenital amputee athlete to ever play college football and minor league baseball was presented with the Inspirational Achievement Award by legendary sports agent, media/film consultant and author, Leigh Steinberg. This powerful evening was held at the GlassHouse, a spectacular, newly unveiled venue - it was a night to remember!
