CONGRATULATIONS TO MARIST COLLEGE FOR CREATING THE FIRST ADAPTIVE EXHIBIT.
‘The Adaptive Exhibit’ hosted by Runway of Dreams Foundation’s Marist College Club kicked off a first-of-its-kind activation. It promotes the mission of the Runway of Dreams organization, which seeks to empower people with disabilities through fashion inclusion, featuring Adaptive brands such as Steve Madden, Seven7, èIspirante, Zappos, Kohls, Mai We Care, and more…
Due to its success, it sets a benchmark and best practice for Runway of Dreams Foundation College Clubs with fashion departments. Adaptive brands, small and large alike, enthusiastically showed their support and featured products alongside students’ Adaptive designs. Marist students decorated the gallery with donated fabric from Fabscrap and included original Adaptive designs in 2D by Marist fashion seniors. 2D digital design renderings and work with the Adaptive brands help students build their skill set and professional portfolios, while helping innovate the Adaptive fashion space.
Students all over the country are joining our Campaign for Inclusion by starting Runway of Dreams Clubs on their campuses. Currently, there are 20 active Clubs nationwide, working to increase awareness, supporting people with disabilities in their communities and raising funds to fuel our mission.
