Sonia is a retail advisor and Managing Director in the AlixPartners Retail Practice. She is a transformation leader with over 20 year of global experience driving complex transformations and strategic reinvention for retailers and brands across functions, channels, and geographies, resulting in meaningful enterprise value creation.

Sonia brings her passion for the industry; deep expertise in fashion, athletic, and lifestyle apparel, accessories, and footwear; and an engineering mindset to build authentic partnerships with clients and to help them solve the most pressing challenges.

Sonia has held interim roles in Transformation and as Chief Integration Officer, leading the merger of global lifestyle brands Quiksilver and Billabong. She combines over a decade in consulting with nearly a decade of experience in operational and leadership roles based in Canada, Europe and China.

Sonia holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University.
